Tips, Tools and Tricks from great Workplace Investigators

Wednesday 9:05 – 10:05 AM

Session Description

Have you ever noticed that people with a lot of experience conducting workplace investigations are amazingly calm about the process? Maybe it’s because they’re just not normal, but more likely it’s because they have a few tricks up their sleeves that take the fear and chaos out of the investigation.

In this session, you will learn key elements to becoming a great investigator such as how to diffuse a hostile respondent, what questions to ask when the interviewee is going off on a tangent, and how to get even the most reluctant witness to give you the information you need.
